Book Catalog App is a digital library management and book collection cataloging application that organizes print books and audiobooks, records publication metadata, and filters media repositories on Joget v6 and Joget DX 7.

Librarians, corporate archivists, and personal book collectors struggle to track multi-format media inventories when relying on physical index cards or unlinked spreadsheets. Manual book tracking leads to unorganized publication editions, lost acquisition sources, untracked book conditions, and missing subject tags across physical and digital reading collections.

Key Features

• Captures detailed book profiles including titles, authors, editions, series names, descriptions, page counts, purchase sources, publishers, and languages.

• Categorizes media items across customizable subject categories, physical or digital formats, condition grades, and descriptive search tags.

• Utilizes Marketplace form plugins comprising the Star Rating Field Element Plugin to track purchase costs and reader ratings without custom code.

• Employs no-code form configurations that eliminate custom HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or BeanShell scripting requirements across the application.

• Renders a searchable catalog directory with multi-field filtering controls for title, author, publisher, subject, format, tags, and creation dates.

• Provides responsive mobile web views for readers and library managers to browse catalog records and submit new book details on mobile devices.

• Exports book catalog inventories and media collection registers into CSV, Excel, XML, and PDF formats.
